Here is $500 to upgrade your windows

If you are considering upgrading those old energy-sucking windows before you sell your home, don’t wait any longer. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPACT) allows you to get a tax credit of up to $500 for buying and installing products, such as energy-efficient windows and doors, insulation, roofs, and heating/cooling equipment. The changes must be made to your principal residence, and the tax credits apply to improvements made between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2007. For more information, visit tax breaks.
